MIC Food® is here to help

To our valued partners:

Now more than ever, the food industry has the responsibility to support one another and to be accountable to each other and the people it services. MIC Food remains committed to supporting all of our Plants and international supply chain partners as they too, continue to take this commitment seriously. We are working closely with our Plants to ensure that the highest food safety requirements are met. We are closely monitoring the various restrictions being imposed by governments in the countries in which we operate and the resulting impact those restrictions may have on our ability to continue with uninterrupted supply.

We want to remind our partners of all the positive work that is being done at the Farms, Production Facilities, with logistics as well as at the distribution level. While news channels keep us informed and updated, the news does not speak of the dedication we’re seeing in our partners every day. Our industry remains strong and we are all working very hard to keep food supply operations flowing. MIC Food is proud to be a part of that effort.

What We’re Doing:

Over the last few weeks, we have implemented additional internal measures to prioritize both the sustainability of our business operations as well as the wellness of our employees. Hygienic best practices have been communicated to all MIC Food employees and we have implemented the required tools to ensure continuous service to allow our team to work remotely all the while remaining fully operational.  We would like to take a moment to share some support measures we have put in place to better serve you during this time:

Customer Service

Our customer service representatives remain available from 8:30 – 5:00 pm ET daily M-F at 1.800. 788.9335 or orders@micfood.com for any assistance you may need.

Logistics

We offer assistance to schedule appointments with the warehouse if needed. It will be recommended to plan appointments with the warehouse with 4 days in advance instead of 2 days. The facilities may experience high volumes of orders and limited labor.

No Minimums for Delivery

We are waiving our minimum pallet requirement for delivery temporarily to 1 pallet to ensure food supply remains uninterrupted.

Product Supply

We have local inventory of all of our core items to support any food service or retail needs.

This situation is an evolving one and things can change daily or even hourly, we will do our best to keep you updated as things change; we will keep effective communication as a key part of our service. Please do not hesitate to contact your respective MIC Food representative with any questions or concerns.

Respectfully,

Alfredo Lardizabal
