Big Banana® Whole Baked Ripe Plantains

Queso Blanco
diced
▢

Guava Paste
diced

Guava Sauce
For the Guava Sauce

can guava paste
▢

water

lime juice
or more to taste
Instructions
Preheat oven at 350°F.
Slice the plantains in ¼” slices
Cut the queso blanco into ¾” x ¼” squares
Do the same with the guava
To assemble the Plantain stack place one plantain slice on an oven proof tray, add a slice of cheese and a slice of the guava.
Place another slice of the plantain and pierce with a skewer to hold the stacks in place.
Place the stack on an oven safe tray and place in the oven and bake for 6 minutes or until golden color
For the Guava Sauce:
Melt the guava paste with the water in a small saucepan over medium heat.
Stir until smooth.
Remove from heat, add the lime juice ½ tsp at a time until desired tartness and sparkle is achieved.
Cool to room temperature.
