We believe we can only guarantee the quality of our all-natural products, grown in strategic regions of Latin America, by being involved in every step of the process of bringing our products to the world-wide market.
Food Safety
To ensure we give our customers the best product, our Food Safety and Quality Assurance Department carefully oversees its foreign supply verification program and proactive Quality Assurance management systems, based on preventive controls, HACCP, and GFSI recognized programs.
Our Mission at MIC Food is to be a Solution Provider for our Customers, Always Placing Safety and Quality as our Main Priorities.
MIC Food's Food Safety and Quality Policy is:
- To provide all-natural food products that comply with safety and quality requirements, in adherence to regulations, based on HACCP and GFSI recognized schemes.
- To partner with suppliers that can meet these requirements on a consistent basis.
- To provide our staff with the training and tools necessary to carry out their functions consistent with this policy.
- To pursue continuous improvement of our products and systems.
Certifications & Verification Activities
– Main suppliers are certified in Global Food Safety Initiative (GFS0 recognized programs)
– Annual third party audits for every location
– Most of our locations are Kosher-certified
