MIC Food’s ‘Cooking With Color’ Contest Standouts

Last year, we partnered with Chef’s Roll to host the Cooking with Color Contest – where chefs competed by using our United Flavors® Tri-Color Sweet Potato Fries to create beautifully colorful, unique dishes.

Through this contest, chefs from across the country brought their creativity to life, showcasing the versatility of our United Flavors® Tri-Color Sweet Potato Fries. Each dish was a vibrant celebration of flavor, color, and innovation, inspiring home cooks and professionals alike. From classic favorites with a twist to bold, inventive plates, the Cooking with Color Contest highlighted the artistry and imagination that our product can bring to any menu.

In honor of our Fall Into Flavor campaign, let’s take a trip down memory lane and revisit some of our favorite dishes from the contest.

As we wrap up our recap of the Cooking with Color Contest and go into this season of Fall Into Flavor, we’re truly inspired by the incredible dishes our talented chefs created using United Flavors® Tri-Color Sweet Potato Fries. Each recipe not only showcased the fries’ vibrant hues but also highlighted the endless possibilities for incorporating color and creativity into culinary presentations.

We hope these dishes spark your imagination in the kitchen and encourage you to experiment with flavors and presentations. Thank you to all the chefs who participated and made this contest a celebration of culinary artistry. We can’t wait to see what’s next!

Traditionally, sweet potato can take up to half an hour to prepare and cook. Here at MIC Food®, we are helping chefs, restaurants, industrial kitchens, retail brands, delis, healthcare institutions, and others in the food industry rethink their menus and increase appeal among ethnic and mainstream consumers alike.

We provide a variety of sweet potato products that come peeled and cut, ready-to-heat and serve, saving you hours of prep time so you can focus on what matters the most: making every meal memorable.
