Grilled Turkey Burger with Yuca Croutons, Grape Tomato Salad, Sliced Kiwi & Orange Wedges

Ingredients

  • 16 oz. Tio Jorge Yuca Fries, Crouton Cut
  • Vegetable Oil as needed for baking
  • 1 Ib. ground turkey
  • ½ cup Italian-seasoned breadcrumbs
  • 1 large egg beaten
  • 1 tablespoon minced dried onion
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon freshly ground pepper
  • 1 Haas avocado sliced
  • 4 Whole Wheat burger buns

Preparation

  • Pre-heat oven to 400°F. Grease bottom of baking sheet generously with vegetable oil.
  • Arrange frozen fries in a single layer. Bake to a light golden brown,approximately for 12 minutes.
  • Season to taste.

For the Turkey Burger

  • Pre-Heat grill to medium-high. (350°F to 400°F)
  • Combine first 7 ingredients. (do not over work the mixture)
  • Shape mixture into 4 equal-size patties.
  • Place the patties on the grill, cover and cook for 5 to 6 minutes on each side or until no longer pink in center.
  • Grill buns, cut sides down, 2 minutes or until toasted.
  • Serve burgers on buns, top with sliced avocado.

To Assemble

  • Serve the Turkey Burger with the baked Yuca Croutons, sliced kiwi and orange wedges and a side salad of curly lettuce and grape tomatoes.
